The Llama Run 5k Virtual Run/Walk – Provide housing for a youth in Perú

Join us for The Llama Run 5k and provide safe housing to youth who have aged out of orphan care in Perú. 

Walk, run, or roll the distance, by yourself, with friends, or with your family, and be part of changing lives. Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.

When you participate on April 13, 2024, your registration will provide three nights of safe housing for a youth in need. You will forever change their future. Will you join us? 

How to Complete Your Virtual Run

Register for The Llama Run and complete the 5k anywhere-anytime on April 13th, 2024. Complete 5k in your neighborhood, at the park, on your favorite trail, or even on the treadmill. 

You can do the run alone or get friends together, create a team, and complete it as a group! 

  • Local Meet Ups – join others in your area!

    • Brush Creek Park & Pavilion @10am – Eagle, CO

    • Shollenberger Park @10:15am – Petaluma, CA

    • South Portland Recreation Center @8am- South Portland, ME

No matter where or how you complete your walk/run, you’ll empower youth in Perú by giving them a safe place to live and hope for their future.

After you complete your 3.1 miles, share your accomplishment and the good you’re doing by posting pictures to social media. Show off in your new shirt and be sure to use #LlamaRun2024 when you post on Facebook or Instagram.

We will ship your official Llama Run t-shirt and any prizes you have acquired. This shipping is included in your registration at no additional cost. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed when registered by March 26, 2024.

Recruit your Friends and Fundraise for your Race – Win Prizes!

Once your registration is complete, you can create a unique and free team and/or fundraising page. Click here to create your page and review a downloadable toolkit to get you started! Help reach more youth in Perú by fundraising for the event! Support a loved one or donate. Every $40 means another youth receives three more nights of safe housing.

You can share your unique page link on social media to fundraise and your friends can register for the race and choose your name to join your ‘team.’ Get 5 friends to sign up under your name and you will receive your choice of a Llama Run hat, bag of Peruvian coffee, or a fluffy alpaca haired miniature llama.  

Raise $100+ for your run (outside of registrations) and be entered to win a $200 Visa gift card!
