Volunteers bring in the new year!

A group, led by Bob Mutscheller with Church on the Hill – Virginia, spent a week after Christmas serving with our projects in Peru.  The group made a tremendous impact in a short amount of time.  They built great relationships with our teens, bringing in the new year celebrating together with a meal and bible study.  Group members taught jewelry making to the women of Mujeres Virtuosas, along with holding classes at the local community center.  They were also busy teaching accounting and budgeting classes, making balloon animals with kids, planting trees at a new property for unwed mothers, teaching window cleaning and helping us pack to move into our new building! They also had enough time to enjoy some of the tourist sides of Trujillo and treat our teens and staff to lunch in the city.  THANK YOU, CHURCH ON THE HILL!
